A brother, a son, a racer so great,
his birthday is a time to celebrate.
As he trains, let us all remember,
his special day this November.
Trains so hard to be the very best,
for championship, he is on a quest.
Keeps his faith close to his heart,
helps him be strong as tears start.
Song in his heart, written for brother,
so much love, respect for each other.
Be blessed in the times you feel pain,
bring healing to heart and his sprain.
Have strength, focus upon your goal,
for good will come to a beautiful soul.
Mom has love, heart to understand,
always there to lend a helping hand.
Matthew still rides right next to you,
there beside you in all that you do.
Rides with the wind, cheers you on,
to follow your dreams far beyond.

Oh Sandy I just love this poem. It is exactly what I was hoping for to encourage my Bryce. He is such a great son. Thank you so much for ackowledging his brother to him as well and the dream they had together. I'm also grateful you acknowledged the beautiful song Bryce wrote for his brothers memorial. It was so beautiful when he sang there wasn't a dry eye in the church...

I know all you have been through. Though our lives will never be the same, we will always have our family that needs us more then ever. We were bothed blessed with wonderful sons and givien time to make beautiful memories before God needed them with Him. He couldn't ask for two more sweeter or wonderful angels. I am so glad you continue to write of him. It is so good for you to show what is in your heart. I can feel the love and how proud you are of Matthew and Bryce. Keep you faith strong and always know you are loved not only by God but so many friends and family.
