Just for Cyn

One more day,
One more time,
Jump on the computer,
Think about that poetry site.
Here for 2 years,
Wow...

Check to see if I have comments,
Look who left me this!
I cant believe,
Its been this long,
It feels like only an hour!

So many thoughts,
and Prayers to read,
Every new piece a journey.
Life cant go on,
without a piece in History.

Dear Cyn
Thankyou for who you are,
Thankyou for who you've been.
You have helped so many-
Through the good and the bad,
I am proud to say,
I have a friend
on AP like you!

Author notes

This is such a heartfelt poem to your AP friend. I think you did a really nice job with it, and I liked how you made it a tribute as well as a thought-provoker that we all will relate to. Those first 3 stanzas could pertain to most all of us on AP! Anyway, there was one thought in particular that truly drew me in, and it was this one:

    "Life cant go on,
    without a piece in History."

    How true! Excellent job.

Well, to be frank Just for Cyn really means just for cyn. Anybody else who reads this poem is going to be confused. Perhaps you could have written about Cyn and described the person in your poetry. This would give the reader an inside view of why you feel this way. I think that would make a great poem and focus or an irregular attribute or something very positive. That would not only be for Cyn but for the readers on AP
    Keep writing!
