Ones intention to sleep
yet fall into nowhere
with dark thoughts of yesterdays
and leaves turning colors
for the season has changed
still no sleep, just pillow fights
covers all messed up
the light is starting to come in
morning is rising
still no sleep
toss
turn
eyes burn
tired from fighting
sleep
soon, maybe soon
the moon and the stars
will help , maybe help
if not
one shall die
of lack of
sleep
good night
as I must try
once more
sleep
sleep
deep in slumber

Thank you again, it seems you have touched on two of my poems on sleeping. I do have better things to read about. "Way Back Then," is one of my favorites...just thought I would share this, thanks again
