My past;
My suffering
was worth all the while.
How does it feel to be exposed?
A careless mistake;
Manipulated and used,
but now who's lying naked on the ground.
A whisper, murmur, a lie.
Oh, I have you all figured out.
Before they locked me down,
I knew every inch of you.
The sex, the drugs upon MY floor;
Thought I'd never find you out,
Behind MY closed door.
The dawn has broken,
manifesting your guilt.
The sun light floods your veins
and banishes the shadows
to an eternal resting place.
So I ask you again,
"How does it feel to be exposed?"
