Nearly two years of constant comments assault our ears.
We have to listen to candidates, their wives and daughters
tell us how wonderful their particular man is;
just slightly less than godlike
in his overreaching wisdom and perfect insight.
I don't care anymore. My ears are deaf and my eyes blind
if presidential politics are in your thoughts.
I have no ore room!
I'm filled to my very top with promises
destined to be quickly by the candidates forgotten.
Any more politics will induce only sleep
as I neither care or identify with any candidate.
I want to hear of muggings, drownings and rape,
you know, the normal daily news
not stale politics.

Ha! That last paragraph is so totally honest I love it, its quite true - I myself am tired of the mudslingingand would rather hear the horrors of 'real' life then political nonsense.
