Darkness, she came to my bedside
Held me in her arms of regret
I became a slave of the bedbugs
And watched serious windows of imagination
Blankets held me tight in dancing dreams
Love was great big Bunny in All-poetry
Always being touched up by the ModPolice
My sentence was a banning for thirty daze
If i could count the pictures in my wardrobe
I am sure Mrs Maginty would be truly amazed
So I read another Agatha Christie Novel
It was about a butler that was murdered
I hate damn mysteries but they are addiction
And sometimes I think
I would kill Miss Marple for another read
Decent humans should wear their under-ware backwards
then we could become less obsessed by sex
Taking up an exciting pass-times like Lawn Bowls
The only problem Is I would lose aim without my Zimmerframe
So I guess I'll just grow young again
You think that's funny ...
Well its not ..try being eighty wearing a dark red miniskirt
Drinking my favorite red cordial keeps me alert
And One can only lie awake when you sleep
Doctors tell me its good for my health ,
especially when eating cream buns with sugary jam
Food does wonders for the Physique
The skin gets big and a wide veranda protects all the silly bits
Especially when I pull up my pants and tighten my belt
I had better go now My doctors coming
and I'm not supposed to be thinking..as it hurts my brain
