Alone With Him

Alone, to see my humanity;
alone, to wrestle with the lack in me.
Never learning boundaries,
that would my heart and mind protect.

Now here in my solitude, to study and subject,
my life in submission to The One Whom I hold dear;
He Who gave His life for me so that I’d never fear
the angel who brings death not life!

I’ve never been a wife, though I did come near,
to taking on position that I knew was too unclear;
longing for situation of body, spirit, mind,
all in perfect harmony, this I couldn’t find.

Now I seek the best in me, without a mate to see,
how with me to relate, to draw what’s gold from me.
I know I’ve a protector, a Husband soon to come;
I live to give Him precedence, so with Him I’m one!

Author notes

Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to Elohim. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1Pe 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for Elohim resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
1Co 7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Master, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with righteous jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to The Christ.
Rev 19: 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.[His wife is His flock!]

    What a beautiful piece it flows wonderfully and is very naturally written. Good luck in the contest.

      Thanks for reading!

      This flows easily 'cause it came right from my heart and life! It's a mini autobiography.
      I'm living alone and yet with Him I'm never alone!

    It's a well written account of another alternative when you are alone. I'm sure it provides a great solace.

    Thank you for entering my contest.

      This is my life!

      Thanks for your comment. This is what it is and what I've got to work with and it's a blessing for me. I've mucked up many relationships in the past and I'm now working on the one that's the most important in my life. I get lonely, we all need hugs & kisses, but I work to keep my focus on what I believe is to come. Thankfully I have a Home Health Aide who shares many of my beliefs & we hug & kiss when she's here! I get a least one hug & kiss 4 times a week and then try to 'load up' when I can get to religious services! When my Congregation sees me they know what's in store & the children know what I need & they're more than happy to accommodate! I'm blessed. Thanks for holding this contest!
