the storm was fierce
the rain was blinding
a bit of spilled blood
and the contract's binding
he'd follow her home
she'd be unaware
she'd use the parking garage
he, the servant's stairs
he'd show patience
wait until the lights were dim
no room for mistakes
no rushing or whims
slowly he'd creep
through the blackening night
not a sound he would make
he had planned this out right
he savored the thought
she might struggle and fight
and was anxious but cautious
to finally get her in sight
after all...
this was Halloween night
what better time
to cause one some fright
as he rounded the corner
he could see her room
but was suddenly overtaken
with a sense of dread and gloom
his feet would not move
they were dead weight
she opened her bedroom door
and said, "hello there my date"
fear swept his body
like never before
he wanted to run
but was stuck to the floor
she said, "you came for my blood
but it is all mine.
Now about this contract
you thought I'd sign
I've been where you are
and back again
I've taken the life
of many of men.
I think tonight
I'll take yours too
but first you'll suffer
before I'm through."
he was in trouble
his plans had gone awry
if he didn't think fast
he would surely die
he could hear the thunder
and the wind picking up outside
with continuous lightning lighting the room
his trembling hands he could not hide
he became terrified when she came at him
with a sword making a motion as if to poke
when suddenly he heard familiar voices
"Happy Halloween, this was all a joke!"

This is neat
I liked this because the more I read the more I feared for the poor soul only to find at the end, that it's all a joke. Well done it had a great ending.
