This is a stone
that is used to guide one
during a journey.
It is set by the ones
who came before
so the others coming after them
would be able to find their way.
So, even tho
you set out on the journey
alone
you know
that others have been there before you
and will come again.
So you're truly
never alone.
Never lost
for there is always someone
or something
to guide your way.

#4 Solitude doesn't have to be alone. Ap name is trekkergirl. I was told about these stones during a meeting a work. The people set these out so that people are able to find the safe route home. Inunk I think that's how they are spelled. So in truth no one there is ever truly alone.
