Why Do I Cry?

A tiny drop of water
Emiting from your eye
Gently rolling downward
Accompanied by a sigh

It's very, very natural
It's nothing you should fear
It's feelings come to surface
It's emotion - It's a tear

It happens when you're happy
It happens when you're sad
It helps to tell a story
An experience you have had

So when you're feeling happy
Or sadness may be near
Let your heart express itself
By shedding that small tear

Mr. Doug

This had a very good flow to it when I read it aloud. It was a excellent description of a tear, and I appreciate this poem to a high extent. Thank you for entering.

A near perfect description of a tear, really quite lovely and gentle. (The one thing you forgot, outside of emotion... allergy...lol)
Just kidding, of course, your poem is brillianty written, smooth flowing and meaningful.
