Frailty's wings flutter
in briefest of passing existence,
a study in life's fleeting moments
stimulating new life.
Petals in demure grace
fall to fluttering elegance,
releasing honeyed dew,
a gift of life shared.
There is no sting,
merely unerring understanding
that each spans a diminutive moment
in universal creation.
Each a speck ablaze
as a star in lustrous wonder
such a rich thread in life's tapestry
woven in glistening wonder.
And as their glory closes
the star explodes in momentary glory
fading to make way
for the newest of nature's spectacle.

a good piece of poetry - aye, every moment leads right into the next and everything is connected to each other, from the flap of wings to the words right here and now in your poem and which i add to with this comment.
