travelling on the upper road
i took a turn for the worst
and forgot about that
yearly apocalypse that we
encounter all the time.
two days from today
and a year ago
would've been excellent
so very convenient
i have forgotten every touch
and every breath you took.
it's as if i walk to you
with broken legs
and complete misdirection
i have lost you in your midst
and that
my darling
is perfectly fine with me.
