Forgiveness is a revenge

'Smack'...
            ...Silence...
Painful sensation,
          Still
To hurt you back
              I forgive you

    Intriguing.

This poem made me do a double-take in order to truly soak it in and grasp its meaning. I especially liked the end bit, where forgiveness hurts them back. I sincerely hope that more people read this, for in its simplicity lies one of the most deep and profound statements I have ever seen.

    THIS SAYS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

I also learned a long time ago that the best way to get those who hurt you to recognize just how much they did is to forgive them but move on without them. Just by forgiving you put in their hearts a feeling of tremendous guilt.'s
