This is lovely =). I especially like the way in which you are able to turn something simple and ordinary into a thing of beauty. I would suggest the incorporation of some punctuation, though. Especially in the first line. I feel this part of the poem is a bit too squished together and could do with being broken up a little. Excellent work, and I hope you did well in the contest =)

This should have won the contest I think.The beauty that is within a glass vase is like no other.The light refracts the stems and give contrast to the flowers.For me it is a thing of beauty.
