thank you for the compliment! if haikus were titled, my haiku would have called:
DUALITY OF NATURE. all living species have to stand ready to defend itself from that which intends to destroy it!
was there a poem to go with the photo? the picture expresses it all...!

This was actually entered in a contest for the top banner on the AllPoetry homepage - ages ago. It was a wonderful day though and the picture does bring up so many different feelings and emotions...perhaps I will write a haiku about it.
