Life goes on, that's what they say.
I see it's true with each new day.
The past is simply washed away.
So bring it on- and come what may.
When things are dark- just search for light.
If the day has been too long, embrace the night.
When things are wrong, try to set them right.
Stay true to yourself- it's well worth the fight.
Hard times teach us how to enjoy.
Without the pain, you could not feel joy.
All the little things that seem to annoy
Are worth so much more than an empty void.
While yesterday definitely has been set free.
Tomorrow will wait for nobody.
Outcomes are results of actions from me.
So I'll strive to be the best that I can be.
Because life does go on, in case you forgot.
It's best to give it a whole hearted shot.
The rewards it offers can not be bought.
And it's better when you give it all that you've got...

Life does go on until the day it doesn't, and then all the other stuff is incidental, at best.
I like this. I'm fond of saying that a great deal of life consists of just surviving to get to the next day. Ah, but then there are those days that make the others worthwhile -- the days when your kids tell you how special you are, or come home with 100% on a difficult spelling test . . . priceless.
