Warm tears streaking softly
down my cheeks,
Inside, hidden away emotions lay
strong yet meek.
Strong in faith, powerful with
hope of right,
Beaming with a love waiting to
spring true and bright.
Though this love has yet
to appear,
Still swift and true are these
sweetly flowing tears.

You are such a loving...considerate soul who feels things on a very deep level. I know how difficult it is at this time of year. I find it an extremely painful time. Yes, I have always considered you family, you have been so wonderful to me over the time we have know each other. Sadlly as one becomes older and does not have a wife or childern anymore, they are alone as their parents, aunts and uncles have all passed away. In my case no brothers or sisters either. That is life though, I do cherish all of my friends here so much and consider so many of them as family.'s

Sweet Kevin, I have known you for several holiday seasons now, And your loneliness and yearning for family becomes so evident at this time of year. Luckily, you can express these feelings so well.
I have read your work as well as comments and can only speak of my family. All my life the holidays have been extended not only to family, but friends and even just acquaintances. The largest gathering I can recall was 44 people, including a friend of my mother’s who was grieving is wife, a Jewish family who were neighbors of my sister and a Chinese young man alone in this country who was a work acquaintance of my brother. During the holidays we all become one family. Your friends offer was from his heart to yours. Perhaps if not the whole day, you could spend a few hours with them.

I took this pic not to long ago, just as the weather started to get chilly, I love to see all the different flowers on my walks and have many pics of different ones. Our holidays season is just around the corner with threee major ones coming in the next three months. My family is all dead except my mom who is not able to share with me because of her disease. That is why I always am feeling so down and thoughtful during this time. I lost my wife nine years back by her cheating on me and telling me to get out she didn't love me anymore. With on one anymore it is extremely difficult but one does move on and I do get through it.'s

They are our most cherished ones and without my family (all are dead now) it has been extremely hard these past nine years now since my ex and I split.
