Beyond the pillar of blinks
and portals of heartbeats,
dwells the woods where the mind
feels the caresses of pure magic,
a sorceress’s glen
conjured by confessions within the heart,
summoning spirits in turmoil
who have whispered their ache and sorrow.
She lifts them by a charmed kiss
upon their slumbering souls,
to stroll where every breath brings
calm unto the being.
Each step makes a wish come true,
every glance comes alive with manifestations of beauty
and creatures that tease with mesmerizing intensity.
Her guardian keeper appears as a fox,
able to sense each thought and need,
quietly casting forth a spell to enchant
until the visitor is intoxicated with serenity,
entranced by each vivid leaf and tree,
which slowly move in keeping with a soothing melody
sung by invisible creatures who occupy the shafts of light.
Any cares are swallowed in the ivory mist
that appears and covers one’s essence,
lost in its euphoric spell,
becoming a golden feather
floating between the branches,
utterly consumed in the weightless rush in peace.
A drift in a sky full of stunning visions
from every dream that never came true
before dawn claims the sleeping life.
Carrying the sweet fragrance of afterglow
throughout the day
praying the next night
will bless with another respite
coming one’s way.

Mesmorizing beauty within this magical verse. The pic reminds me so of my dog...I lost her a few years ago. She died at age 13. This is so touching to my heart. The words are like a healing balm to a soul broken and bleeding. Thank you for sharing this. I adore it.
