There once was a man from Nantucket
who hauled his manure in a bucket;
with abandon he'd spread
on his plants that weren't dead,
And then, when it rained, he would muck it!

Well done! ...
I am taking the class for meter and had to come up with three of these limiricks for an assignment. I put off that task forever because I found it difficult! I just submitted them yesterday and am waiting for my grade ... I liked yours alot! j

I've been to Nantucket - land of the very affluent. Nobody's hauling or spreading manure on farm land there - unless it's a gardener carefully burying it under pristine landscapes.
Very funny, rhymes well. You managed to make this both clean and dirty.

Well done!
SWEET! I adore it, the picture, the feeling of this old man from Nantucket dripping into the house, tracking manure around... Thanks for the entry, friend.
