One day is as a thousand
In the Eyes of God,
A thousand will be as one day
When heavens streets we trod;
As ancient as these mountains
As old as the trees,
As young as a newborns breath
Floating on the breeze;
Whether one year old or ninty
When God's Face we see,
We will be forever young
When compared to eternity.

Nice...
... but I must admit that I am looking for something that goes with the picture I posted, or with the theme of the contest.
It is a beautiful poem, however.
Thank you for entering!

Wonderful Write
I love this, especially the last verse. It makes one realize how short life is here. And it blows my mind to think that eternity never, never, never ends.
thanks for sharing this poem.

i love this! The flow is great and it makes me think about how old this earth really is and someday we will be as old as that in heaven with the people we love =]
