An unerring sense of this
Wandering eyes stare
Day after day
Forever in this place
Just another guest
In another place
Forever 'round and again
Traveling watching waiting
Empires risen and fallen
Emperors wept to dust
Civilization crushed
Still forever I stand
Green to brown
To gray to red
To green and back again
Forever I watch
Sifting between history
Sifting between future
And the present too
Forever is just tomorrow
Yesterday and today
Men come and go
Animals and cities
Just the wind remains
Carrying the scent of forever
Forever

I really do like it.
I imagine the writer as some sort of God who has his memories in front of him like the are tangible and he is sorting through them. This poem really gives that timeless sense. It is very well written.
Thank you for entering and goodluck.
