The form is a Cinquain, a Cinquain is a five lined poem with a syllable distribution per line 2,4,6,8,2.

    I really like the use of the word 'pungent' in this piece - very vivid and well crafted ... personally I don't think that 'summer' needs to be capitalised - but that is just a style thing this is peaceful, touching, and a little on the melancholy side - I wish you the best of luck in the contest with this beautiful poem!
