My life is filled with laughter, filled with tears,
filled with all those special years.
You told me secret songs of love,
about angles from above.
They'd fly, they'd dance, they'd sing,
then id do the same thing.
Id twist and turn and dance,
then i'd sing and prance.
My name was mommy's angel, she would always say,
then when i would sleep, id lay in bed and pray.
"Please make mommy better, she hasn't been to well,
for she's the only one my secrets i would tell.
She call's me mommy's angel and kisses me when i cry,
she is my mommy angel and together we will fly".
Ten years in the future, when i was twenty one,
my mother lay in bed, the battle not yet done.
My mother in her death bed didn't want to rest,
for mommy's angel to dance was her last request.
Tears streamed down my face as she sat upon my arms,
in circles i did walk, in the backround hospital alarms.
The noises had no meaning for we soared in inner peace,
our dance with each other would never really cease.
I am my mothers angel as she would always say,
and one day we'll soar together and in heaven we will lay.

JUDGE:
This is beautiful. The only problems I have with it are the small i’s and the lack of apostrophes in contracted words like id. So I am giving you two applauses but not moving you onto the finalist list. Thank you for entering.
