Impatience

not much longer now
to wait;
when you get home,
I'll enfold you in my emptiness
and you'll smile,
and pull yourself close,
flowing through the hollowness
replacing every gap
with yourself,
sloughing off the clinging skin
of lingering paranoia,
snug and secure within my embrace.
each unruly twist of hair
and jade-hued iris
highlights the memory of your skin,
the soft caress of your breath
against my neck.
you'll be home soon,
heart-of-my-heart,
but until then,
I can only dream of holding you.

When my partner gets home I'm going to grab him and squeeze him and not let go for a long time. My username is intoothandclaw.

Sigh... this makes me want a man to come home to me. Very sensual. Nothing like a good daydream to enhance the pleasure.

"When you get home, I'll enfold you in my emptiness and you'll smile, and pull yourself close, flowing through the hallowness replacing every gap with yourself."

You can see the mutual longing for one another. On the one end, the intense desire to be filled. And on the other, the utter joy of meeting the challenge.

    Good piece.
