lying in the night,
moonlight wedged
between the curtains,
your hair dark branches
in the snow pillows
as you rise
it becomes
wood smoke,
blowing in the wind
as you turn your head,
fireflies of moon drops
and diamonds swirl
into the darkness
pausing at the door
you turn smiling
shades of ivory
and moonlight white
with died-and-
gone-to-heaven
ebon eyes
you laugh gently
and ride a wave
of night into the dark,
the envy of shadows
my heart lying in linen,
how could anyone mean
more to me than you?

Wow your poetry astonishes me. I love the way you think in images and write how you see those images it leaves a very magical feeling to the reader. Like in the stanza:
and diamonds swirl
into the darkness
It reminds me of a whispy feeling, light and floaty almost like a fairy dancing in the breeze. I hope that bit makes sense. Honestly you captivate the reader into a world that you have created through your writing. A truly magical experience. Way to go! You were right I do like your work.

fireflies of moon drops is the image that I'll take from this. I like the simplicity of the ending against the very poetic nature of the whole write.

Beautiful!
It's true ... she will always be with you.
Lovely contrast of light and shadow; merging dimensions and treading timelessness of soul.
Ah. Night. How soft dreams bring us into contact with our innermost awakenness ...
Blessed be Poet.
