When we were little,
we were completely unseparable.
I was always at your house,
Playing games, and having fun.
I miss those days,
More than anyone could know.
I wish they were still here...
Why, you ask?
Many, many reasons.
Mostly, though, because it was fun.
We were practically invincible
When we were little.
One reason though,
Is that teenage life is hard.
Sometimes it can be miserable
And difficult to pull through.
If you fall down and scrape your knee,
It heals quickly and usually doesn't leave a scar.
However, if you fall in your teenage years,
You can have more than just a scrape on the knee.
You can be hurt by one person
And it is so so hard to repair.
Your heart can burst into millions of pieces
And you can't ever find all of them.
I broke my arm at your house
And I screamed my head off!
My bone is healed now;
It's doing very well.
It hurt at the time
But now it's just fine.
I could be in physical pain sometimes.
Fortunately, though it isn't all the time.
You broke my heart two years ago
And I cried my eyes out.
It still isn't healed yet.
Only you can fix it completely.
It hurt then and it hurts now.
I still cry my eyes out, curled in a ball on my bed.
It might not ever truly be healed,
But, really, why does it hurt for so long?

It hurts because you loved compleatly and so many don't. To some it's just a game and they don't think about what they do to others, Love is a grand thing whan it is returned for the same reasons, but so sad when it is not. I hope you get better soon and that this feeling goes away for you. Love is hard to change and you will have these feelings for a long time because for you they were real. It took a long time for me to find the right one, but I finally did and life is the best ever. Don't give up....love is out there. Good luck, The Shaker (thanks for your comment as well)
