Twinkle twinkle
Little star...
Look down on me
From the heavens you rest
Watching the billions of us
Look like ants from above
Do you know what will become of me?
What my future lies?
What is my destiny?
As you whisper
This song in my ear
It only leaves me wondering
What will become of me
What will become of the world?

This is a nice poem,nice...and bittersweet. There is a double meaning to this, I dont know if you meant it, but I saw it. This has a nice twist to it. (Even though I absolutely hate the real song, cuz it has my name in it. haha)
But I would gladly ready this all over again. -
An interesting twist on the age-old rhyme. Thanks!

Outstanding
I liked how you linked a well-loved nursery rhyme with quite a deep poem that questions the world around us. It is an unexpected contrast but it works very well. The stars represent the beauty of the world but the poet is full of questions, trying to understand and gain self knowledge. I liked the soul searching in this poem. Over all an excellent poem.

I thank you made me think,
I have tought the same thing, What will become of me, What will become of the world. In the world today I think we all better think about that.

WONDERFUL!!!!
In the twinkling of the stars are our dreams, our hopes, and our faith. One can see so much up there in the stars shining bright.
