God is good, and I am His alone,
seek to be godly in all I may do.
Greater love I have never known,
words of the Master to construe.
Touched my heart on summer day,
arms surround, He held me tight.
At that moment, I heard Him say,
child, everything will be alright.
God has been good in many ways,
when I stumble His love uplifts.
Goodness shines in morning rays,
upon earth and His glorious gifts.
His forgiveness amazes, teaches,
those troubled who come to seek.
Guides us with words He preaches,
giving strength to lost and meek.
Power and glory of love so pure,
there to help through any task.
Endless love, steadfast and sure.
He alone, all you need do is ask.

A beautifully done spiritual piece. I like the devotive qualities of it. It has a soft uplifting quality and I do believe that in essence we are a piece of the divine. Very nicely done.
