I have seen you just four times.
But I can’t tell you goodbye.
Cause when I saw you the first time
My stomach flipped up side down.
I want to be there with you.
And never have to go
But I can’t because of other people
who will only stop and stare
Our ages are too different.
Parents won’t allow.
Our bosses will get angry
Perhaps throw one of us out.
Maybe we’ll be together
If we can only wait
Stay close on our journey
And see what destiny brings
I’m still at school.
While you’re living on your own.
I wish I could run away with you
But something stops me from it.
My thoughts say wait.
My heart says go.
My mind is twisted,
With the decision of what to do.
I wish you’d tell me how you feel.
The guessing is killing me.
Everyday I search for you.
But am I looking in the wrong places?
I know I’ll see you again.
Cause we work at the same place.
Though our functions differ
I don’t really care.
I only want to see you
Even if it’s a last time.
and a last kiss

Nicely done with this piece.
I can feel the emotion in every line. Good imagery and flow here too.
Bravo

This is cute.
I like the feeling and the story.
The flow is a bit choppy though, I don;t even have any suggestions to fix it but I think it could use some reworking, still it is a really great start.
Thank you and good luck

A story in poem for about forbidden love, there is always something that tries to stand in lovers way. You hit upon the issue of age...and parents and employers, the world that surround us sadly at times keeps us from the ones we love. I'm glad we're left with hope at the end of the poem that just waiting may help, and things could work out. This poem has many layers, I enjoy it, I love poems that make me really think.
