Lovely; shows such a normal sea side summer scene; makes me pine for the sea as I'm used to seeing it out of my bedroom window, but where i live at the moment, do not ... and the masts of the boats criss crossing is really gorgeous; lovely shot!

great picture
this was a really great pic. of the sand and the surf. if you like the sand and the surf... where is the woods? but you did a GREAT job. just by entering. but i think it should be a more universal. you know, something for everybody. not just sand and surf, not just the woods. something for everybody. great stuff though. love gypsyfish

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. This pic is just a snap shot of summer in my part of the world, sorry it can't be everything to everybody! I guess any scenery is going to be personal, the only thing that might be universal to depict summer would be the sun but I get your point

Lovely.

I love the different shades of blue and the contrast in the picture.

pretty. so much blue! perhaps a bit more sand along the bottom, and horizontal/parallel lines are best if possible (i.e. more sand is on the right than on the left right now, etc)...
Keep 'em coming!

Thanks
Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I won't be able to edit your suggestions on this pic, as the perspective of the boats means that however much sand I leave at the base it will still be on a slant. Unless I rotate the pic and then the boats will be out of whack! I initially only entered one header as with limited places I didn't want to monopolise too many. But as you have opened up more places I'll certainly have another go and try to incorporate your helpful comments.
