Its a fine chilled day
snow flakes dancing my nose
moon rays shimmering the cold
as I package Santa's sleigh
The reindeer harnessed and snug
while elves finish children's toys
away away went the willy winter
over valleys and mountains it sores
Cookies baked, fruit cake eaten
turkey warm in oven for Santa's return
time to rest the night jolly session
for tomorrow starts a new
Toys to be made
stockens to be darned
things to be baked
and Santa needs me,Ms. Santa.
Author notes
1. A day in the life of Ms. Claus. Making all those cookies, putting up with moody elves and frisky reindeer.
