A Soldier's Birthday

Save your wishes for the stars,
Overhanging the sky beneath which you rest,
Lost in a world of wartorn scars,
Destined to put your survival skills to the test.
In this time, hugs, and affection are due.
Even a birthday comes for the best.
Returns of the day are blessed to you.

My constructive advice to you is to leave the write as it. He is the best to me. He's my personal hero. I'm glad you wrote this acrostic for him.
Thanks so much for entering and good luck in the contest.

Great! I find it hard to make acrostics rhyme, and not make them choppy, but this is wonderful! "Save your wishes for the stars" is a great way to start and a beautiful description. Good job, sis, and best luck in the contest!
