Escape To Be Bound (Part VI)

Hands of warmth hold not fire to burn
My heart now chilled against passionate yearn
The Sun's face smiles dim indeed
Upon a heart enslaved knowing not, to bleed

Travesty!  Crime!  Now shackled away
Bequeathed to irons barring dawning of day
Fetters of scorn and chains of malice
Restricting me, binding me to the walls of the callous

Buried in darkness and covered in shroud
Memory beckons towards promises vowed
Bore me on wings and carried me deep
Escape to that place, to that castle, that keep

That home of heraldry, of tunes and romance
Of sultry seduction and Erotica's dance
In darkness and shroud, though here I now lay
I shall escape to be bound, to my love, someday

Such a strong write. There is so much of you in theses short stories that you have written. and while flowing the story line I have seen you grow and I'm proud of you for reaching deep and finding theses words that express such loving emotions. A very beautiful poem/story. I really loved. it.

    Wow!!!

This piece blew me away! It is very passionate and the rhyme scheme flows excellently.I'll have to bookmark this too.

So long lives this and this gives life to thee."

I like this piece a lot.

    Really liked this:

    Travesty! Crime! Now shackled away
Bequeathed to irons barring dawning of day
Fetters of scorn and chains of malice
Restricting me, binding me to the walls of the callous

Really felt this was extremely well and gave a real strong emotional feel to this. After this I was almost wondering how you would be able to break free from it.

    Nice write.

Fine work here, although the syllable count is a little erratic. Nevertheless, it is a fine penning and all the best in the contest.

    Sincerely,
    mj.
