I booked my passage
on May 10th
destination to be decided
crossed the bridge that overlooked the river
The journey will be long
to where I fit in
this big picture we call life
landscapes and seascapes pass by my window
As the days pass
people will come and go
but as I travel down this path
I hope it will lead
to a bright future
It may take me awhile to settle down
as I travel this long arduous path
Destination: who knows where?
as long it's a place where I find
joy and delight in whatever I choose to do.

i used picture one.. railway as my prompt
i am a recent college graduate and am trying to figure out where i fit in the big picture of life.

I really enjoyed reading this one. This is something that I think many people myself included, would love to do someday. It would be quite an adventure to just pack a bag and head out somewhere, anywhere in the world. I often think about that and wonder where it would take me.

I like the use of railway as you moving toward your destination in life, it's fast but not too fast, just fast enough. Cool concept.
