Beautiful poem. Normally i am not a huge fan of free verse, but this kept me enchanted from start to finish.. incredible imagery. I like the "together" run.. that was fun to read.

Yes love is learning to understand another even when times are bad its giving of yourself often when you feel it should be the other way around but in the long run you see love given has a way of coming back not always when we feel it should but it always comes back for a liftime of love doesnt come without heart aches and tears for getting to know one another takes a lifetime. But the rewards even through the good and the bad brings its own rewards of what love truly is if you give it a lifetime to mature and grow
