Ring the bell or clap three times
Recite the chants, all in rhyme
The veil is opened, worlds between
Revering their spirits is the theme
The Crone is how Mother returns
We give thanks as the candle burns
Soon, Mother will return in birth
And replinish, she will, Mother Earth
Now bless this food in circle, cast
May your guidance be so vast
The ways of tradition now unfold
Candles melt, both Silver and Gold
I give thee thanks, both Goddess and God
I draw down the moon, with my wand
"Blessed be", the festivities at hand
I raise up my chalice and say,"Happy Samhain

A most excellent piece and very inspiring. The energies of Samhain easily flow from this piece and it is just beautiful read aloud. Thank you for sharing it as it is the essence of the sabbat. Blessed Samhain
