Self-Destruct

twisting tighter,
squeezing shut all possibility of release
hogtied at the bottom of the unwell again.
this time,
the effort turns inward
crushing and stretching,
forcing thought and body,
every particle,
to coil and press ever further
concentric unstoppable force
in hopes that,
if only enough turns can be made,
enough pressure produced,
the whole body
will spiral back into quantum foam,
shedding structure
like an ill-fitting coat that chafes and stinks.

i love the last metaphor about the coat its very effective, it gives off the feeling that you are trapped and ensnared. this evoked much pressure and pain in me. great read.
