a year from now
a bride i am eager to be,
but to him i'm not so sure
i love him i truly do
but love is not always enough
why do fairy tales never end that way
love and a prince is all they need
maybe thats the part i am missing
a prince...
some one to set me free...
but once upon a time
he did save me from my self
so it is not saveing i need any more
i just need things to end the way they do in stories
i just need a happy ending...

This is a very honest write. It has a genuine confusion and yearning that is very impacting upon the reader. I like the no-need-to-be-saved part. I love hearing that from women. I think we all do need a happy ending at one point or another, and rarely does it come unfortunately. But who knows.. it may be ahead for you... maybe not with this man though... Good luck! ♥
