No Pizza For Me, Please.

Oh cheese. . .
not another pizza please.
And cheese whiz,
you know my intolerance.

My stomach bloats.
Mucous forms in my throat.
I begin to cough and
have stomach aches. . .

So, please dear,
no pizza for me.

But. . . if you insist
on a pizza dish,
promise to top mine with
your sweet puckered lips.

    Well, well, well; someone else beside me does not enjoy pizza, specially cheese. Lovely poem with a very lovely end ing. Thanks for an enjoyable read.

    But oh lord help me! You've given me this vision of a pepperoni pizza just covered with surgically removed puckered lips--I'll never be able to eat pizza again.

      I had to laugh inside the other day when out with the grandkids for pizza. Those surgically removed puckered lips cam to mine. I giggled to my self and my grandson ask, "Mema what's so funny?"

    A real lament from a cheese lover! So sorry to hear of your difficulties and unpleasant side effects! Yes, I too love to even get a taste from my sweetheart's lips!

    I'm allergic to dairy and couldn't eat cheese for a few years, that is until I discovered hard goat's cheese! I'm fine with it and from what I've heard I'm not the only one who has cheese allergies that can eat it! Try it, it's the best tasting cheese ever!

    As for your poem, it's snappy!
