Forever You and I

Forever you and I,
and ever shall we be.
The distance that's between us
Is not eternity.
Though death has laid its snare,
and pierced you with its sting.
We are still together
beyond death's darkened wing.
And one day we shall see each other
all pain then erased.
Together you and I,
at last face to face.
In heaven's great granduer
for all eternity.
Forever you and I,
and ever shall we be.

How sad Meme. I can feel the pain with the carefully chosen words, but it's not a whining, sobbing pain - more like a strong and patient pain that is with you every day.
I totally understand this one, well not in the same way as you wrote it, but I know that kind of pain, and there is great peace and strength that comes through in your words here.

    Beautiful. <3
