The look on her face was rapture,
when she heard flamenco guitar
in the jazz song playing.
Slowly she began to dance,
subtly moving her body in
ancient rhythms...
moving down her arms
to her white-bird hands,
describing arabesques.
Tight red dress accenting
the lines she was creating,
that mirrored the music,
as a work of art.

I wish you'd have been there with me. It was a magical moment and I'm sure you would have had your muse stirred by the scene I witnessed and reported here.
Thank you for your kind words.

This is a lovely take on the photograph you chose. Completely different to all the other entries and that is always a good thing. I shall be handing all the poems to Necip tomorrow morning.
Thank-you for the entry!

Thank you Pamela, I took some poetic liberties with the choose another bird prompt, I know that, but it was the poem that came to me.

Those are always the best ones. They stand alone and need no image or prompt to take meaning. That means, they can go anywhere.
That is a good thing.
