My favorite thing about
New England is
how the colors light up the trees
in autumn
chill is in the air
as halloween and thanksgiving grow near
Red Orange Yellow
I am blinded by so much color
crunch crunch
the leaves crinkle under my feet
as I walk the dog
Breathe in that nice autumn air
let all worries and stresses
escape from my mind
as I enhjoy the splendor of autumn in New Hampshire

i need a break from poems that are focussed on the falling out i had with my friend from the Barn Playhouse.. that's getting to be old news in a lot of cases. Fall foliage it is!
