I never realized a pillow
could be soft upon my cheek.
I never knew a bed
could feel so warm around my body.
I never felt food
fill my soul so completely.
I never believed that my heart
would beat so strongly for anything.
I always wanted someone
to stay up late each night
and watch me while I sleep.
I always wanted someone
capable of pleasing me in ways
only a real man could.
I always dreampt someone
would come and save me
from myself.
I always knew someone
would love me more than I
could ever hope for.
I love the way your hair
falls just in front of your eyes
when you tilt your head.
I love the way you smile
at me that makes me blush
so hard that my cheeks get
hot and I feel like we're meeting
for the first time all over again.
I love the way you always
tell me I'm the most beautiful
person you've ever met, even when
my hair is kinky, or my clothes
won't fit right, or my ass is just
too big.
I love the way your jeans
fit just below the waist so I
always catch myself staring at you,
knowing I always will, even when
you're ninety and they don't fit
quite so nice.
I want you to know
You've made me happy.
I want you to know

You've given me everything.

Beautiful poem!! I love the way you talk about how you are still going to love them when you are old, and the beauty of youth has fadded. People dont see that much anymore unfortuatly.
The only thing I can suggest is that you check line 32. The "my hair in kinky" I dont know what you ment. Otherwise, lovely peice!
