Princess Lauretta
Special as the day
Warm sunny sunshine
That chases away the grey.
Clouds cannot reach here, there is no sorrow.
Happy days that shine at night
Stars twinkle in your eyes
Eyes that shine so bright
Like blue dawn flowers
You are rarer than the rarest flower
More precious than the most expensive jewel.
Feelings I cannot contain
There are no conditions when I look into your eyes
There is just complete trust.
It is you that keeps me sane.
Looking into your eyes I see my whole life and finally it means something to me.
I have everything that I need
I am complete,
I feel selfless, no need for greed.
I carry a part of you inside my soul
I see you in my face,
I look at you in the mirror,
I feel proud, I feel grace.
You are my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,
You take my breath away like the sunset of a glorious summer day.
If I could gather all the beautiful wonders of the world it wouldn't be enough.
I see you in my poetry,
I see you in the prettiest painting
Yet words and pictures are not enough to say thank – you
My precious Princess Lauretta
Angelic cherub
That makes my heart glow and chases away the grey.
