Tranquil multihued waters
rest calm as crisp leaves rustle;
A sunshade branches out,
where bare feet have tread
and minnows have nibbled.
Today awaits their arrival,
Yellow rafts and orange flippers;
boys’ laughter grows closer
as clothes are shed down the hill.
“Last one in is a rotten egg.”

This was beautifully written; so many colours in it - and the picture matches your words beautifully, you really brought it to 'life' even without the accompanying picture there, I think we would all still have come to the same image conclusion -
Excellent work, thank you for entering -
reminds me of days I've spent at creeks in small towns. very vivid and delightful. I enjoyed this.
