Eclipsed by moonlight and starlight glow
brilliantly beaming night in sapphire blue
although the glints sparkled and fired
none was so more as you
First love for both shyly encountered
bashful, blushing butterflies inside,
How to reach out revealing deep feelings?
How many nights I'd painfully cried.
But just by chance we awkwardly stumble
upon each other this starlit night
eyes meet in moonglow basking in white
this has to be my most perfect delight
You reach for my hand and tenderly hold
warming my fingers so chilled, sweated cold
and warmly caress my blushing cheek and
with that first sweet kiss our love did peak.

Lovely!
This poem holds the feeling of the first blush of love that everyone can identify with. So glad you won a trophy for this is Wouldn't change a bit of this. This has a wonderful flow from start to finish, your word choice brings everything vividly forth & this has a fine rhyme. Thanks for this. It made me feel young again!

Stunning, stunning, stunning. this poem makes me want to cry, it's so beautiful! It is so intimate and passionate yet so tender and youthful and sweet, it is just truly exquisite, it moves my heart and soul! I love the alliteration of the letter 'b', it adds a nice effect to the whole poem, and the flow is lovely. A brilliant write it's brightened my day
