I'm wondering if you are the the only one who really does care...
I no longer feel like myself
A mask I'm beginning to wear, I feel like screaming...I hurt from these scars
Trying to fill this void, and forget what you are.
Moving on is hard..so for now, I'm just trying to deal
A friend reminds me .. that it'll take time
And time will make it heal.
I sure wish that time was here, cause I'm so fed up
I can't believe it...
Every promise you told was a lie I believed..
I can't believe I was so stupid.
You took a part a of me... and now
Everythings on hold
Heart's status = pending
The day is over.... I still hurt
So much for my happy ending....

People who lie end up being found out in the end, then they are the ones to look stupid. Your poem contains some powerful emotions, thanks for sharing.

as a song once stated "the best part of believe is the lie".... we believe people when they lie because the lie is what we want to be true. you arent the only one out there who has fallen for this trick, and i can tell you that you wont be the last.
actually this poem reminds me of two songs... first the one stated above "sophmore slump or comeback of the year" and secondly "happy ending" by avril lavigne....
but as you wrote... time heals all.... im not saying it will stop hurting today or tomorrow, but think of it as a light shining at the end of the tunnel, someday soon, it will stop hurting..
but this poem is amazing, so much emotion... keep up the great work!!!

I thought that this was really sad. But it is only a part of life being hurt. As much as we don't want it to be, it is. In time, you will get over it, I can assure you. And you are not stupid, you are only human. It is natural being hurt, and feeling like this. But in time, you will get over it, learn from this and become a much stronger person.
As for the poem, I really liked how you started it off then just went from there. Full of emotion, and I liked how you finished the last line with the dots. Cause it feels like, it's not over yet. But it will be, you just have to wait it through, and then you will get your happy ending.
I thought that you did a good job with this one, and I hope things get better for you soon. Sorry about the long comment.
