receding glow darkens
barren womb of day
throws up thousand Suns in night
all tiny twinklings
ages past holds sky

Skyward! ' Twinklings ages past' - you have brought in the science of million years old in a small line. One of your best.

I really like your take on both of the prompts. the third line really stood out to me. the imagery was amazing and the way you wrote was simply beautiful. great write.

Love this write up on night sky... Beautiful imagery here!

This gives me a sad feeling, like the illusions of the day have passed and all is revealed as vain and ephemeral. "barren womb of day" and "ages past" add to it. Beautiful images, best of luck!
