my body turns warm and he embraces me.
a kiss and he leaves for a moment, a quick moment.
another gulp and i'm on fire.
dropping the bottle under the bed, pills rattling softly.
i willingly drink the physician's sweet tonic in silence and tranquility.
a quick moment is always sufficient.
coming back to me, he yells.
picks me up and yells and hits my face.
but i'm still, i'm cold, i'm gone.

wow
this is so short yet so strong
i loved this -
I liked your portrayal and theme in this piece - it was very new and uncliche in comparison to a lot that I have read in this contest (the addictive personality theme).
I think this write would be a lot of affective if you worked on making more creative phrasing to portray your emotion, or maybe imagery.
Thanks for the entry. -
this is a scary little window of your experience with drugs, thank for entering my contest.
