Heaven Knows I wish I knew
There's no future in the past
When love is broken you are too
I remember how it was
When it used to feel so right
Now we've wandered far beyond
We've lost our way in the night
Turning circles broken dreams
Pain that cuts just like a knife
Now we wander inbetween
Just like ghosts around this life
Funny how love causes pain
Like the lies we often tell
To make believe we're just the same
Despite the agony and hell
Who really cares or worries why
When hearts are thrown about and torn
I guess it's how we justify
How our lives just carry on

I think it makes the poem so much stronger and thats the stanza that you feel most about...
